Installing the AccuRev Eclipse Plugin

The AccuRev Eclipse Plugin supports all AccuRev related functions for developers within Eclipse. This utility has to be installed on top of Enterprise Developer using the standard Eclipse installation support. Therefore Enterprise Developer has to be installed first before installing the AccuRev Eclipse Plugin.

In the AccuRev Eclipse Plugin is already installed and you want to upgrade the plugin then the installation steps are the same.

Use the following steps to install The AccuRev Eclipse Plugin:

  1. Extract the folder UpdateSite from the AccuRev Eclipse Plugin archive AccuRev_Eclipse_UpdateSite-2016.1.0.nnnnnnn.zip.
  2. Start Enterprise Developer.
  3. Select Help > Install New Software....
  4. On the Eclipse Install dialog click on the Add… button.
  5. On the Add Repository dialog click on the Local… button.
  6. On the Browse for Folder dialog navigate to the UpdateSite folder, select this folder, and then click OK.
  7. Click OK on the Add Repository dialog.
  8. Check the AccuRev Plug-In for Eclipse entry and click Next twice.
  9. Accept the terms of the license agreement and then click Finish.
  10. If a security warning pops up click OK.
  11. After the installation is complete you are asked to restart Eclipse. Click NO and close Enterprise Developer.
  12. Start Enterprise Developer once using the -clean option.
